Verve becomes resident company of Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS

Verve Mobility Services (VMS), our health focused business developing a novel remote patient monitoring and engagement system for Orthopaedic patients is now a resident company of Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS, a premier life science incubator program. JLABS is a global network of open innovation ecosystems, enabling and empowering innovators to create and accelerate the delivery of life-enhancing health and wellness solutions to patients around the world. As a leader in innovation, JLABS helps entrepreneurs in pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer, and health tech bring healthcare solutions to patients and consumers.

VMS is proud to have been offered an in-person residency position at the JLABS Houston (US) site, located within the Texas Medical Centre, the world’s largest medical centre. This 34,000 square feet facility offers resident companies access to labs, office space and extensive prototyping capabilities including: specialised software, electronics testing and assembly equipment, rapid fabrication and 3D printing. Resident companies also gain access to the Johnson & Johnson Innovation global network which includes funding and investor connections, expertise, resources and visibility.

Acceptance into this program is great recognition of the work we are doing and its potential in this space from the world’s largest and most broad-based healthcare company in the world. Over the next 12 to 18 months, we will leverage J&J Innovation’s extensive network, resources and expertise to drive our research and development efforts towards full commercialisation.
